Join me for an intimate workshop, focused on learning underwater macro photography techniques in the critter-dense waters of Puget Sound. 8 Diving will be our base of operation (where tanks and weights can be rented, if needed, they are NOT included in the workshop). The workshop consists of two shore dives per day (sites to be determined) with individualized photo assistance, a daily lecture, and daily image reviews focused on improving specific techniques and skills.

Recommended Gear:

  • All dive gear: Mask, fins, regulator, BCD, etc

  • Drysuit is a MUST: Puget Sound in winter can expect water temps between 43-48F

  • Lenses: Longer focal length macro lens (90mm, 100mm, 105mm), shorter focal length macro lens (50mm, 60mm), Close focus wide angle optic (EMWL, Fisheye w/Mini Dome, WWL, etc)

  • Strobes: At least 2x strobes, all lighting modifiers (diffusers, reduction rings, snoots)

  • Diopters

  • Laptops for editing sessions
